The TVA team is led by the two partners, Alastair Tuffill
and Victoria Verner. The other key associates are: Michelle
Greenall, Account Director and Andrea Winterbottom, Creative
Consultant.
Alastair Tuffill
specialises
in the publishing and creative side of the business.
Alastair has spent his career in marketing,
photography and publishing. From early beginnings in television
research and marketing, he decided to set up his own business,
and built a highly successful photographic business, working
for a broad range of clients, and specialising in extreme
high-speed photography. It very quickly became clear that
there was a huge demand for creative and publishing consultancy,
so he expanded his business to incorporate these areas. In
1997, he and Victoria became business partners, setting up
Tuffill Verner Associates.
Victoria Verner
specialises
in the direct marketing side of the business.
Victoria has spent her career in Direct Marketing,
specialising in database and customer relationship marketing
with particular expertise in retail and continuity programmes.
Before starting her own business offering consultancy to a
broad range of clients she has held senior positions at Time-Life
Books (Europe), marketing their continuity programmes; Selfridges
Mail Order Catalogue, where she set up and managed their database
and marketing operation, developing a successful marketing
strategy for their new mail order catalogues; and Grolier,
where she ran their marketing department and successfully
developed both their new customer acquisition activity and
their customer marketing strategy to produce significant increases
in marketing revenue and profits.
Michelle Greenall
has
been an Account Director with TVA for the past two years.
Michelle is a graduate who began her career
in Direct Marketing at Time-Life Books (Europe). She then
moved to the Price Jamieson Group where she managed the Creative
Direct division for two years, before developing her career
as an agency Account Handler. She became an Account Director
at Beard Direct, a Direct Marketing Consultancy, where she
gained experience working for a broad range of blue-chip clients
including: The Insurance Service, Scottish Amicable, Reed
International, The Liberal Democrats, British Medical Association,
Brooks and Bentley, Towry Law, Country Gentlemen's Association,
Sun Life, Tunbridge Wells Equitable and Friendly Society,
Books for Children and Time-Life Video.
Andrea Winterbottom
is the creative consultant for electronic and graphic design
projects.
Andrea is an accomplished design consultant
who has specialised in corporate identity, exhibitions, information
design, print and electronic/web publishing for a diverse
range of blue-chip clients including: American Express, Astra
Pharmaceuticals, BA, BBC, Coca-Cola, GlaxoWelcome, Morgan
Stanley, National Gallery, Smith+Nephew, Smithkline and Yamanouchi
BV. Andrea is multi-lingual and has international experience.
She started working with Alastair and Victoria in 1981 and
has been an invaluable member of the team since we began in
1997.
